I hope you had a good holiday season and New Year’s. Damon and I were lucky enough to be playing at Falls in Tasmania on New Years Eve. We swam at the beach then caught the plane back to Melbourne in time to spend the remainder of the evening with friends and illegal fireworks. They used to be legal. Bummer.

Thanks to all who came out to see us play in Lorne and Marion Bay for Falls Festival and Bussleton for Southbound Festival. It was generally very hot and you guys were seriously committed. Playing shows in Australia is always so much fun for us. Such lovely faces.

NEW MUSIC VIDEOS FOR AIRPORT DEATH & LEAVE ME
In other news we are super excited to be making a music video tomorrow in Melbourne for our song Leave Me. You will get to see it soon enough. Damon co-wrote the video with our good friend David Rusanow. Your mind will be blown. Mine was. The last time we collaborated with David was for our Postcards video.

In the meantime we are very excited to announce that IFC.com is premiering our music vid for Airport Death. We shot video mid tour in Brooklyn, NY a few months back with director Nina Stiefel. Let us know what you think. We love it. You can watch it HERE >

Speaking of minds melting, I am listening a podcast that is playing the noise the sun makes. It’s the sound of the sun’s atmospheric vibrations. Cosmic noise. It’s amazing. I also just finished reading an article on sharks parthenogenetically reproducing. Virgin births are for real in the animal kingdom. So much information. So little time. Minds melting. If there is something that is melting your mind, let us know. In the meantime I am flying up to Queensland to let the sun physically melt me. Slip, slop, slap and all that.

Peace lovers. Take care. Stand by your resolutions or break them swiftly. My New Years resolution was to worry less. My sister however has already pointed out that I am worried that I will break my resolution. See above. At least I was swift.
