We have a day off in London today. Kate and I just went walking and did some tourist stuff. There is a heatwave warning in London this week. Temperatures will rise as high as 32c. That’s a winter day where we’re from. Bizarre.

The shows with Silversun Pickups are going really well, and the band and their crew are sweethearts. Last night we played on a ship in Bristol. (below) That was cool. 2 years ago Kate and I were working in a record store in Brisbane listening to Silversun Pickups’ Carnavas every day. Now we are touring the UK with them playing on ships. If someone told me that would happen back then I would have said don’t be fucking crazy.

Kate really wants to go swimming but I keep telling her it’s not a good idea. The water looks dirty. She promises not to swallow any so I said maybe later she can take a dip in the Thames.
