Hey buddies of this here world wide interweb,
How are you? Damon and I are well. We are in a place called East Lansing, MI. Lansing sounds like a delicious cup of tea. I am drinking a not so delicious cup of coffee that Damon made.
We just thought we should check in and let you know that we are okay. Maybe a little hungry but fine. Last night we played in Madison, WI. The last time we were there I remember there being a whole lot of tulips. This time only snow. Thanks to all who made it out on a chilly Wednesday night. It blows us away to see you guys!
We are only a week and a half into this tour. Many, many, many dates to go (Police Academy anyone?). Tomorrow we head to CANADA. We are so excited to head up there. I am told Canadians and Australian’s are very similar people. I guess this is so. Both outrageously attractive and kind yet gentle souls. If you live on the east coast of Canada do check out our dates on our profile page. Come see if we are kind souls like your good selves. We will get to the west coast soon.
Okay so in the last week we have been busy doing all sorts of things as well as playing. Before we left Australia my sister (Caro, she is younger but taller and smarter) gave Damon and
I a mystical crystal tree. She told us to “grow” it in the van. So we did and here is a video of us making magic crystal trees for the awesome music blog MFR…

Also, earlier this year we toured Australia with Canadian’s Tegan and Sara (such gentle, caring souls). It was, as one would expect a whole lot of fun. Sara Quin or Sara as we like to call her, interviewed us about our new record ‘Rearrange Beds’, guns, sexual histories and gang violence. You can watch it below…

I am sure we will talk more soon. I may even have more exciting things to write about. Oh! I can tell you our new official website will be online in a matter of days. That will be exciting. Until then you can buy cds and a limited number of t shirts from our Australian online store.
Take care and always make sure you read in a well lit room. Straining eyes are good for no one.
We wish there were a whole lot of tulips here in Madison, WI this time around, too.
